What the free website check looks at
Our free website check runs 27 tests on the page you enter. First, the basics customers notice: HTTPS security, load speed and a proper mobile setup. Next, the things Google reads: the title, the meta description, one clear H1 heading and image alt text.
Then it checks what most builder sites skip. For example, schema markup with your business details, an XML sitemap, a robots.txt file and an llms.txt file that helps AI search tools understand your business. It also checks whether your text is real HTML or an empty shell that only fills in with JavaScript, which many AI-built sites are. It also checks your homepage linking and whether you have location or service-area pages. Finally, it checks whether visitors can actually reach you: tap-to-call, a contact or booking link, analytics and a current footer.
